Just got an email from my mum and dad to say they've arrived safely in Lima and are setting off to Machu Picchu tomorrow, before Bolivia and the Atacama desert. Proud of them like but still. When you're sat at your desk dealing with hundreds of emails its a bit depressing.
Sounds good, something I'd love to do but I can't see me leaving South America without a cavity search...I look a bit dodgy
My dad calls them 'ski-ing' holiday. 'Spending the Kids Inheritance'. To be fair I've told them to spend the lot and enjoy themselves.
Skiing down hill from Machu Picchu sounds very impressive. Although not as impressive as skiing uphill to Machu Picchu! I'd have given them the same advice as you, mate.
