Just seen on the sky news website that ESPN will broadcast on sky august 3rd yipee but for £9 per month extra for one chanel with setanta you have several chanels thought it would have been a little cheaper than the £9 per month extra say a fiver

They can fook off. For 5.99 with Setanta you lots of channels. Nine quid for one channel is stupid.

It's bad enough having to pay a fortune for SKY. We refuse to pay any more. It's a right rip off.

My Sky is going after the Ashes

Fed up of forking out money much of which flows out of football into agents' pockets.

I suspect they will group it with ESPN America and £9 a month is what I was paying before for the old NASN before Setanta bought it and lumped it with everything else and I ended up paying £14 a month.....so for me better than it was but would just prefer they leave ESPN America with the basic package

I'll not be getting it either, or sky for that matter. No longer paying to make millionaire footballers even richer. I'd love it if everyone was to cancel and then sit back and watch the bubble burst. As Keegan said, I'd love it.

I remember a time when all England football games used to be on normal TV, England cricket games and the C & G Trophy used to be on 4, Carling cup was on ITV, F.A Cup was on BBC and when ITV had those few games on a Sunday dinner time, and when the Football league play off's used to be on ITV.

Oh how times change :'( .

Yeah me too and Sky is supposed to have made football better. The only people who seem to benefit from Sky are rich footballers and their agents.

Yup and now know-one can hardly watch the Ashes. I remember everyone running home from School to tune into channel 4 and put the Ashes straight on in 2005, one hell of a series.

Hardly anyone inc. Me is gonna be able to watch this series (wnkr).

Oh wait a minute... We have the 30 mins highlights show on Channel 5 don't we :'(.
