    Just watching ITV 4 and noticed the 5 officials warming up. Couldn't help thinking why the two that stand behind each goal line need to warm up when they practically never move. I'd be keeping warm in the bar. . . .

    But to me they stand on the wrong side. The same side as which the linesman is on. Not withstanding the opposite diagonal that the referee does, wouldn't it make more sense to be on the opposite side to the linesman, at least if the ref is behind play (on his diagonal) the bloke behing the goal would then have a decent view... Refs are **** anyway
