Just been on the news that they have a press conference tomorrow to announce it. Be interesting to see how much he gets around the grounds. Not sure if they have played at BL yet

That should stop the silly gullible *******s. Every time a Sheff U fan makes up a story on Twitter/Facebook that he's signing for us it goes viral, even numerous posts on here. Folk just added fuel to the fire.

Have a word. His actions were a little bit more serious than nicking a loaf of bread and he hasn't paid his dues, he is half way through his sentence.

The "mistake" I take it, was being caught and held to account for raping a woman?

He hasn't paid his dues, he's still serving his sentence, he's out on licence. I've certainly never worked with a convicted rapist, I worked with people considered to be vulnerable so they were protected from scum like Evans, just like the women and kids who come into contact with a football club should be.

Hows he going to be a threat to people who come to a football club. I never said the mistake was being caught or that i agree with what he's done, unlike Luke mcCormack who killed people whilst drink driving and is playing again. You may well have worked with a convicted killer or rapist, they don't have it tattoed on their forehead like it seems you would like them to

Before you spout off insulting folks views do yourself a favour and learn the facts before making yourself look a bit silly.

He hasn't paid his dues yet. Just coz he's not behind bars doesnt mean his sentence is over. He's just serving the remaining 2 and a bit years on the outside.

He hasn't even shown any remorse, he still believes he hasn't done anything wrong even tho he left via the fire escape

How many female staff work with in a football club........
Ask yourselves this.....would you feel right and have peace of mind knowing your daughter, wife , mother, sister, or any other female relative would be coming into contact with a rapist....if you answer yes, i bet it would be a case of boot on other foot if it was your female family member that had been the victim.

whilst i understand he claims he isnt guilty, until he proves otherwise then he shouldnt be allowed back on the big stage...

His name is on the sex-offenders register, he is legally seen as a threat to the vulnerable.

Professions where people work with vulnerable individuals are subject to enhanced Criminal Record Bureau checks. I have not worked alongside a convicted rapist.

I'm not talking about Luke McCormack, I'm talking about Ched Evans, he has no divine right to anonymity or to work within professional football and in my opinion any club that employs him deserves all the negative publicity they receive.

What irritates me is that even if he is given an appeal and even if he is successful (very unlikely IMO) what he did that night was sleazy and morally wrong but he hasn't got a shred of remorse in him. Until he shows remorse I hope he can never pick his career back up.
