even IF the rumour of the Howard/blunts transfer has fallen through is true

I would now still like to see him go, the Mainsite statement that tells of last Mondays meeting with him, and his agent, and the Board and manager tells me to move him on. From now on he will never give anything like 100%, and the fans will not be overly friendly towards him. Any tiny mistake, or lack of effort, and they will roast him. Also how on earth could the rest of the team rally to a captain like that now, he has heralded his want and intention to leave ASAP.The players will now have probably lost a great deal of faith/trust/respect in his captaincy.He has given us some good service but now has to go.

 

The only reason he hasn't signed there yet is because he will be talking to other clubs, he will be sold this week to someone so theres not much danger of him being seen in a reds shirt again
