well considering we wouldn't get 1.2 mil for the whole squad and they're at the wrong end of league 1,have a ground worse than highgate dog track and have only recently been saved. I was surprised they spent cash on a player like i'm not surprised we've spent very little as the board would rather see us relegated than spend cash on players. Now I'm not saying break the bank but don't you find it a little odd when clubs around (and below) us are signing players yet we seem to be picking up the left overs

I'm not too interested in Rotherham to be honest

However, Gordon has said many times that "funds are available".

To be honest, we have spent £100k on McCann & £75k on Mattis. We also had a sizeable bid accepted for Constantine - which would have pushed the spending to something like £300k.

But constantine deal was more complex than the family tax credit nt

beacuse port vale wanted a player in exchange. gord said he would have rather payed the extra cash. we also bid 200k to rotherham for williamson believe me i doubt if the spending has finished. and the last 20 year old we signed frm leicster for 50k was a certain mr wright and how that worked out.
