    Evening Jeff, mate

    Our last signing was Ben Alnwick, the goalkeeper from Spurs. Lots of transfer gossip, but (due to the players spending this last week in Spain) nothing much has happened alately.

    Alright Kev.

    Seem to remember Ben Alnwick being quite decent tbh. We've signed a couple and lost a couple. Kenny Miller signed for Vancouver Whitecaps yesterday and Tom Heaton has left. Anthony Gerrards days are numbered as well. Jordan Mutch has joined from Brum and some young Slovenian/Slovakian striker - can't remember his name but I know its worth 120 points in Scrabble! Oh, and Craig Bellamy is supposed to have already signed but their holding off announcing until the Olympics are over - according to his dad (unless he's winding his ex-workmates up).

    Don't know about you but I'm gagging for the new season to start.

    News I heard was that a Cardiff lad was jumped when having a piss. His mates took offence and the coachload he was with then clashed with a coachload of jacks. Wasn't there so don't take it as gospel.

    Don't want to play in red (no offence ;)) but if it means I've still got a club to watch then I'll reluctantly accept it. Still the Bluebirds though. Don't think this rebranding will last that long anyway tbh, they've already surveyed all season ticket holders to ask their opinion on the way going forward. Next year as well probably, we'll see after that - big PR exercise with a triumphant return to blue imo.

    I start next Monday

    But the first few days will be spent getting our base set up, better known as Stalag 17. The actual field work will probably start the week after, weather permitting.
