They'll get £40m if they stand their ground. Chelsea need Stones and Everton don't need to sell so they are going to have to come up with a record transfer fee to break their resolve.
i think a couple of million for Patrick's back pocket (and I wouldn't blame him) 1 million back into the academy 1 million on ground improvements. 1 and 1/2 million for player recruitment. ....Having said that, we will probably get it given back at ten Bob a week in postal orders from Everton...
Best thing that Barnsley can do to secure our financial future is to give all our young talent to Everton including a 50% sell on clause. When they sell they'll negotiate a price 10 times what we ever could.
I think the Evans deal is all paper talk. If Everton want to benefit on the field from selling Stones they cant replace him with Evans. I imagine Martinez we'll be eyeing up another Stones type whos good on the deck.
If he stays at Everton he may get badly injured then we get nowt. David Luiz was never worth the money Chelsea received and is not comparable.
