According to "the secret footballer" Everton will be trying to knock our fee down from 15% by saying they won't sell him unless we agree to only take £2m.

According to the secret footballer we would be desperate to take the £2m.

Firstly. The "secret" footballer is Dave Kitson. Secondly I hope Maurice Watkins, Patrick Cryne and Ben Mansford tell Everton to go to ****. If they want more agree more with Chelsea as we want our full 15%.

Heard of this before. Clubs trying to buyout the sell on clause.

If that's the case, we should make it public. Just confirm what a set of tw@ts the Premier League are.

yeah its a common practice by all accounts. But at the end of the day, we would probably do the same wi Plymouth if we sell Houriane

Southampton "sold" their sell on clause for Gareth Bale. Bad idea!

Previous examples of this have usually been before any bids have been recieved. Why would we allow this, knowing full well theyre going to sell him eventually?

Tell 'em to **** off. They WILL sell him, they can't afford not to. £40m for a player who could break his leg or do his cruciate in his next match, it would be madness not to sell him at that amount, 2nd most expensive defender in history.

Absolutely spot on. I'm sure Cryne and Watkins will know that. I'm sure selling stones for a total £8m will make the fact we sold him for about £2m initially a much sweeter pill to swallow.
