.......... IMO there’s a high probability that when we look back at the end of the season we see the Plymouth at home match as the most significant match of the season.
There will be more Plymouth performances and more Peterborough performances. Just how many of each will ultimately decide were we finish come the end of the season
I for one after witnessing Tuesday's match thought we'd do well to get a point today, just shows that like Manuel I know nossing. This 3 points are massive by way of putting down a serious statement of intent, chuffed to bits tonight, I shall kiss the dog and pat the wife then drink a few cans of John Smith's non of that micro brewery ***** here.
That’s my actual point - I think we are very unlikely this season to see another Plymouth performance. My prediction today was that we would lose 3 nil or win 3 nil - and it all depended on the response of the players from what the manager had to say after the Plymouth match. Obviously his words have been drilled into the players.
Can't see why Plymouth game would be looked upon as having any special significance or being a turning point. There is a theme to the majority of our games this season. We have more possession and shots on/off target and either win or draw. Plymouth was no different. Can't have it our own way all the time.
