Danny Nardiello is far more likely to score goals than any of the other strikers we currently have at the club. Yes, he ditched us - but if he's as fired up to put things right as he was to keep us up at the end of last season, he's well worth a try on loan. Nothing to lose, and everything to gain out of a loan deal like this.Like his interview on the official site - he knows he has to prove himself again, and I just have a sneaky feeling he will..
Oh, and another positive.. We need a striker who plays on the shoulder of the last defender if we're going to gain any advantage of having a player like Diego Leon. I can see those two forming quite an alliance.
Another major plus is that Ferenczi hasn't been the same since he left, they worked very well together last year, here's hoping they can pick up where they left off.
Oh, and one more... Daniel Nardiello - 7 goals in 9 games.
Barnsley's strikers this season: Ferenczi 4 Odejayi 1 Coulson 1 Mostto 1 Christensen 1
He's scored one short in his last 9 games for the club of the combined total of our 5 other strikers.
