Anyone slightly concerned about Danny Wilson's part (or lack of) in the Rose transfer?

Interviews with him on Friday and Saturday, suggesting Rose was going nowhere on a permanent basis. Then yesterday it's Mansford who explains the transfer, mentioning his, the board and owner's decision to sell Rose, then in a somewhat hurried afterthought. mentioning Wilson. Then yesterday's pre-match press conference being fielded by Chris Hutchings

I said same yesterday that it seems to have been done in a hurry. Like they wanted him out etc

 

Or maybe the deal that Bury offered was better than we expected, so we accepted?

 

Wilson's comments were just him standing up to Flitcroft's inappropriate talk of another club's player. You should not talk about other players you don't own. I wouldn't read much into this, it's clear Rose gets a move to play more football and we have a decent package with other strikers ahead of him.

and how often have we been able to say that when we have sold in the past.

The fee is seemingly one that cancels out our outlay for Winnall, so maybe it clears the way for another player/s to come in.
