    I wouldn't know him from Adam

    But that goes for just about every other footballer apart from those who play for Barnsley, used to play for Barnsley or play in the Premiership and are well out of our price range.

    I'm always surprised when so many of our fans recommend players from other clubs. When are they watching these players? Other clubs play at the same time as us don't they? I wouldn't have a clue which players to suggest we sign. Although that Torres doesn't look bad and I reckon Ronaldo could do a job.

    to watch the championship every week and spend at least 20 minutes every day studying the results, top scorers, league tables in every league in the western world

    I've actually seen Porter play this year, and he scored.

    He looked OK, but to as my 6yosaid at the time 'these players aren't very good'. It was met with agreement from most of those around us too!
