Very difficult to pick a mom. So many ran their blood to water.

I wouldn't argue mate. Nor would I argue against others . I spoke to many after the game and i reckon 5/6 were given the shout.

Loved the way he was straight over to celebrate with the Ponte when the whistle went!

Re Benson I take your point. he was poor at losing the ball. But he never hid or shirked responsibility. He was the poorest in what was a great all round team performance in general.

Agreed. I've been very critical of effort levels in recent games - mainly away at Forest and Luton - but even at 0-0 I was satisfied with everyone fighting for second balls and going into tackles full on. Really happy today.

Everyone worked hard today and for ninety mins .
That’s what’s been lacking aside from sloppy passes and lack of concentration .
It’s worth noting we seemed to gee up when Carlton was fit .

No coincidence that we looked better after he went off. It was like playing with 10 men in the 1st half. Quina was the MOTM for me. Styles and Vita were outstanding too.

Very very true , I would give it to Quina , his effort like everyone else was first class but he showed quality throughout & his goal was the icing on the cake, pure class & a match winner but special mention for Gomez , Styles & Morris

Yes, Benson was trying his best but his passing was woeful.

Quina, Gomes & Vita the standout 3 for me, but other than Benson everyone had a decent game. Palmer has been in poor form, but would start for me over Benson. Shame we haven't got Herbie Kane.

Totally agree. Best number 9 type of performance since Ashley Ward, and he was one of my all time favourites

Not often I disagree mate. But Palmer does not put the effort in. Someone I spoke to last week. Hit the nail on the head. He puts a gesture in to give a false impression of effort.

    Palmer lacks involvement for me.

Seems too content to drift around, and play rapid first time passes which too often aren't accurate and lose us possession.

He needs to up his game, try to impose himself more, to reach the level of such as Quina and Bassi.

At least he doesn't give away possession nearly every time he get's the ball. Benson is just not ready. I agree Palmer has been poor this season, but he's better than Benson. Benson is not even L1 standard.

I would have liked to see Matty Wolfe coming on for Benson if I’m honest.
