    Whether or not he was the right man for the job to start with is a different thing but everyone England should be on his side supporting their home country.

    It's a shame England didn't get through, deserve it or not we should have been behind their backs 100% and we weren't.

    I for one will be disappointed next summer at Euro 08

    McClaren deserves the sack

    and will more than likely get it.

    Not because of the fickleness of the BBS posters but because of his failure and the overwhelming pressure that will be brought to bear by the public and the national sports media.

    I have not yet heard a serious "football insider" :D even mention the possibility of him keeping the job.

    Why all he said wrong was the title of the thread.
    We should have all been behind the England team, the statement about everyone being a **** is wrong tho`.

    The problem is that the players ANY ENGLAND MANAGER has at his disposal at the moment, are a bunch of big headed, money grabbers and tomorrow the Manager is going to get the sack and these players will still be there in the next squad.
    The players have started to believe in the hype showered on them by the media, bigging up them until they believe that they are God`s Gift , hopefullythis will now cease and reality will step in.
