about half past six when the synchromesh on the minibus died a death as we went from the M60 to the M61. Having driven home almost totally unable to change gear, I get in, finally settle down at my PC and FM2005 has decided to turn itself off as soon as I start a match!! Anyone know if this is a fixable fault? (or where I can get a new gearbox!!!!) Please???
If its only the Synchromesh just learn how to double declutch - in the olden days thats what everyone had to do ff
I think it's a bit more than that, now. I've been changing down into second like that for a few months now!! I can only get a gear if the engine is not running and I start the engine with the gear selected and the cluch in. After that, reverse sounds horrible! No doubt I'll pay £200 to see some lad lamp f*ck out of the gearbox with a big hammer and then it'll work again!!!!
