There are quite a few ex-Reds currently in coaching positions that might get a look in - Paul Wilkinson, Neil Thompson, Stuart Gray, Andy Rhodes at Sheff Weds, Redders at Leeds, Joe Joyce at Newcastle... Would be hard to see someone with no experience keeping us in the Championship though. Steve Davis doing a reasonable at Crewe on a very limited budget? Just thoughts outside of the obvious names that have already been mentioned.

Nicky Eaden - Under 21 manager at Leicester City. Experience being a number 2 at championship, league 1 and league 2 levels plus has every coaching qualification UEFA offer. Being him in with an experienced number 2 aka Freedman and Lawrence at Palace.

Or we could just get one of the usual merry go round managers that apply for every job in the league.
