....firstly we're down, make no mistake, a win ratio / home record / lack of goals does not keep you up, fact. Secondly, King Keith (or Kin'Keith if you will) has enthused us all in the past with his rough diamonds from lower leagues on a budget and gets them to perform above their level, all credit to Keith but here's where that plan fails...If he gets the boot what we're left with is a group of League 1/2 players working for a new manager who might not get out of them what Keith manages to.... I genuinely think that's why us reds are so despondent right now, if he stays we get a continued dose of what we've had for almost a year now, if he goes a new manager will wonder what the hell they've inherited but be stuck with the lions share of them....Rock and a hard place I think it's called.... Hate to say it but after 30 years, until I can go to Oakwell and get the 'enjoyment factor' back....I'm out!! Board, this ones for you to figure out and win us back.....just not sure how.
It's the only conclusion I can come to too, although you've summed it up, it's a hope, a punt, a roll of the dice... Is that what the board are forced into? Sums up everyone's feelings on here doesn't it really? People are unsure / dont really care whether to keep Keith or not, that's how dire the situation is. How far away from the Steve Parkin situation do we find ourselves in? It's the nearest I can come up with, honestly Things under Davey wasn't this desperate were they??
I think get width get back to playing football in oppositions half get crosses in box and get theyre heads on it
What is it that Keith getting out of the players? It looks to me like he's getting sweet FA out of them so another manager can't really do any worse.
