    Spot on the right balance of respect and telling them like it was and is due to the savage treatment of British Industry. And the blood coal we now rely on. You are not telling me it would have been cheaper to subsidise British coal rather than having to pay for the social costs of crime, poor health etc. Just typically of the short termism pervasive in this countries economic / industrial leaders, Germany may have it's troubles but look at it's manufacturing industry, the way the management and unions work together, where kids can get proper apprenticeships and management have usual had to work on the shop floor.
