Excellent peformance today

Thought Andranik had a superb game as most of them did. Only grumble is at the strikers! Mifsud missed two one on ones with the keeper and if he had better control he would have been through for a 3rd time. Macken missed a siiter from inside the six yard box and El Hamiour hit the post. We defended well when called upon but it was a nice change to see us go away from home and attack a team, Derby were very poor!

 

Aye We Had A Good Day Mate

Misfud should have scored one of his hatful of chances, Macken should have broke the net with ball at his feet less than six yards out and El Hamiour hitting the post was flukey from his cross. We would have taken four points and two clean sheets against them at the start of the season. Still disapointing we didn't win though. We won't go down if we play like we did in the last two games though. We missed Hammill and the ground is fantastic with 32,200 in there at capacity.

 

We had five chances so how come we missed Hammill?

 

Because the team is far too defensive with Colace, De Silva and Andraniak in the same side.

 

Ever considered that maybe why we got a point today but stifling Derbys midfield?

 

Not really because we dominated the whole 90 minutes anyway. There wasn't one prolonged passage of play that Derby were on top.

 

But still we missed Hammill?? I don't get it.

 

That is because we owned the midfield areas. We look very solid with Andranik, Anderson and Colace in the team.

 

Yeah because with Hammill in the team we would have attacked more, thus created more. He needs to be starting against Forest.
