Just got back from the game and i thought that was an excellent team display from the reds!!! We were the better side throughout the second half and never stopped running. We showed pride, effort and commitment. I have always said that Howard and McPhail were the best two in the centre of midfield and today they were superb. The one of the best performances of the season. Who needs Jacob Burns after such midfield dominace like that. Special mentions go to Nick Colgan for two excellent saves at the death and for claiming every cross that came to him and was totallt dominant in his area. Neil Austin because i thought that some of his interceptions in the second half were brilliant and he always wears his heart on his sleeve, excellent performance today MOTM- Brian Howard was outstanding in midifield he ran for everything put in some excellent tackles in the seocnd half and linked up superbly with McPhail and should have had more goals because he had enough chances after all but he still got the goal he deserved. Him getting booked was a disgrace. Lets hope for a similar peroformance against Bournemouth on Tuesday and lets push for the top two!!! P.S I think that by now you will have gathered that my posts of the last few weeks have been wind up's. I appologise for my behaviour and i was just upset with the Donny result and got too carried away. Today performance shows that we are more than capable of making the play offs or even better, so lets all get behind them. UP THE REDS!!!
