I'm going to continue being optimistic seeing as they haven't beaten us at Oakwell since 1997 (when I was 3), but everyone seems to be looking at the table as if we've already got the 3 points. tbh, I'm sh*tting myself! Win and it's game on, anything else and we're pretty much down! I said we need to win the next 2 after Bolton but after that long trip down to London on Tuesday I have new hope and will take that and smashing Leeds tomorrow instead. I'll even be tempted by Derby if the lads put another shift in. Let's get another great escape train going, and the compulsory 'we all hate Leeds scum!' Oh, and if big John scores again, I'll marry him!
they will be totally fired up to break their jinx and scupper our survival chances. new owner, new boost. meanwhile we've lost etuhu and hunt. big ask to get 3 points. but if we do, we're right back in it with 3 to go..
What worries me is that they must be due a win at our place any time now. Having said that, we can never win at QPR.... Danny has to get the basics right. Set pieces have been woeful, yet we have a lethal weapon in JYM. No more floty freekicks/ corners, let's have some with force. We need to get the crowd going, and be in their faces. COYR!
We always knew they would have their sh*t sorted by now. Apparently we're the favorites for once though!
agreed. if we lose, we lose. but nothing short of 100% required. i just want to see us attack them from the kick off.
Well we've already put up more of a fight than we would have and thinking about it, if I had £100 to put on either team tomorrow, I'd be putting it on us
Stop worrying. We were always gonna beat Charlton & Leeds. Our performances in the 5 games before against better sides showed we will. Trust me. It's after tomorrow we need to start worrying. 3 tough games that we'll probably need 4 points from
I could see Cranie filling in at right back in the circumstances that neither Hunt, nor Etuhu is available. I have reservations about playing McLaughlin there, not from his attacking qualities, but from his defensive inexperience in a game of this importance. I also recall that Cranie did well as holding midfielder in the past - viz 5-0 at Birmingham. I would go for a back four of Cranie, M'Voto, Nyatanga and Kennedy. I would also go for two strikers in a 4-4-2 formation, as the 4-5-1 has meant that we have not scored at home for too long. That might mean a start for either RNL, or Proschwitz. I would prefer Pedersen, but doubt he will be fit.
Yeah, if Cranie's fully fit then we should use him. He was on the bench against Charlton so he should be. If not, we should use Hassell, I'm just not sure where. I agree that we should play 2 up top but we only have 1 decent striker at the minute who keeps drifting out to the left, maybe that's because he doesn't have anyone to flick balls on to though... If we are going 2 up front, I'd use RNL because Proshwitz doesn't give a sh*t and we need 100% effort tomorrow. In the middle, Mellis has been slated for not putting the effort in most of this season but he did alright on Tuesday so I wouldn't have a problem if we use him. If we go back to floating in corners then I might cry!
corners like the one from jennings on tuesday, will do me fine. impossible to defend corners like that...
Alright, if we go back to Kennedy taking corners then. He can put crosses in all day, as long as they in the back of the net!
Leeds fans I work with said they are complete dog ****, they don't see anything other than a comfortable home win and they meant it
Thought Cranie started at Charlton? As for Reuben, he's had knee trouble (the one he had surgery on) but nowt serious. Doubt he'll figure tomorrow though. It'll be one up top again. I'd play Bobby at right back.
Bobby isn't a full back for me anymore. He gets toasted there. Anywhere through the middle (apart fro up front!)
