Jut checking my spreadbetting account and basedupon their quotes, this is what points they expect the bottom teams to get 'points/games' and 'end with' Leeds 10/8 45 Luton 8.5/8 46.5 QPR 9.5/9 46.5 Southend 10.5/8 48.5 Barnsley 8.5/8 49.5 Hull 9.5/8 50.5 Burnley 12/10 53 Ipswich 10/8 55 12 points for burnley from last 12 games ! Any thoughts anyone
How do you get half a point? Dont tell me, It's the new lets 'abolish draws' ie if you lose the shoot out after drawing you get half a point?!
My thought is... You cannot predict this league so it's totally pointless in doing things like that. Just my opinion mate.
I was waiting for someone to ask !!! Theres a margin, so the spreadbet company gets a cut. When you buy/sell your euros there are always 2 rates - one for buying and one for selling. So for instance the quote for barnsley is 48 - 49. If you think they will do well you buy at 49 and win if they are over that amount. Conversely, if you think they will do bad, you sell at 48. So the actual quote the spreadbet is giving is 48.5 with a half point margin either way - in this instance, they win if barnsley get either 48 or 49. It would be easier to explain with Leeds - the actual quote is 44.5 - 45.5, so if Leeds were to finish on 45, the spreadbet company would win .5 points (times your stake) from buyers and sellers
