It's a 10p per minute call to the ticket line at BFC, special number etc, and you are kept hanging on through endless blurb. I've just called Donny Rovers re. tickets for Saturday and it was a normal 01302 number. So you can hang on for ages there and it cost nowt depending on your phone package. With our number does BFC benefit from the extra cost or is it all swallowed up by the phone company? How can Donny use a standard phone number whilst we have a rip-off one?
Not sure if the money will go the phone company or the club, but I imagine it is more a point in the right direction for people to use the website to book tickets so the club can cut down on office staff. Would help if all the info was on the website though...
0871 numbers generally earn the business money eg https://www.telecomsworldplc.co.uk/...tIQo7rLZGEkb6QMPfNCNdk0FEnSuKWvNd8aArVW8P8HAQ Dunno who supplies BFC's lines tho
Cant buy away tickets online after the tuesday, so you sometimes do need to call. I wouldn't mind the 10p per minute cost becuase your only usually speaking for a few seconds anyway, but they give you about 5 mins of ******** before your even put through to the box office.
