Would have won us that game.
One thing we are crying out for is for some experience in the middle of the park.

We have one at the club. Vastly experienced at Championship level. His name is Lee Johnson - I would be getting my boots out again if I were him :)

Is that the same experience we had at centre half in Ramage. We won't concede with a bit of experience was often heard said.

I'd just rather have better players no matter what age they are.

Ramage was a walking cripple at Barnsley. Got him at the wrong time.

He was a leader though. Desperately lacking 2 or 3 like him in the team. Always talking to players around him

We all knew we needed experience. Everyone knew it except Johnson.

Find it worrying that 6 or 7 games into a season he starts realising it's an issue & is trying to get the players to talk more.

Should've been resolved over the summer

Who says Johnson didn't want experience and it was the people above him who didn't?

Lee Johnson said at the meeting the other week he'd like to bring in some experience. Not only to help with on field leadership, guile, know how & the like, but also to have a positive influence off the field in the dressing room and training pitch, too.

Did he explain why we haven't signed anyone experienced then?

Yes. We're struggling to find anybody experienced, and under the age of 23.

No. But he did say that the rebuild would take more than one transfer window. Perhaps he tried to bring someone in, but wasn't able to due to circumstances outside his or the club's control (ie the player didn't want to come here, the club couldn't afford him, they couldn't agree a contract, his current club wouldn't sell, etc.)?

Going off interviews I've heard the suggestion is he chooses his own players.

    Does he not?

I'd agree with that. If he's able to play (i.e. injuries) then he should get himself registered, get training, and pick himself if he merits inclusion.
