Just read that Blackpool have signed James Husband on loan for the full season. 25 years old, a left back, Championship experience with both Boro and Norwich - surely this would've ticked all the boxes for what we're after? Seems to have lost his way a little but was very highly rated at one point! Also read that Saido Berahino is looking for a new club. Now I don't want to get shot down for this shout as he could be out of our wage range but he's on trial at Nimes and played in a friendly yesterday for them. Needs to resurrect his career - still only 25 and could be looking for that chance of a fresh start to put all of his recent problems behind us. Gives us extra options up top with bags of experience. If nothing else, it proves that there are those experienced players out there but I got the feeling for the DS interview yesterday that their search for the much needed experience (in games or age) had been unsuccessful when DT sounded quite hopeful on Thursday. If not then we go with who we've got but I personally hope that the recruitment search is continuing. You reds!
What about Danny Simpson a defender released by Leicester.I know he is 32 but a one year contract. Has bags of experience maybe just what we need.
