I've looked on the sticky above and can't see this mentioned but after speaking to someone at the club today Any one person in the queue for tickets on sale to season ticket holders will only be able to buy Wembley tickets to a maximum of 4 season tickets. EG No one can buy more than 16 tickets in one transaction. You can rejoin the back of the queue and buy more but its designed to stop people turning up with 20 season tickets and the queue being rediculously slow as a result.
It's On The Official ***** Personally if someone wants to go down with 50 booklets for 200 tickets, they should be allowed.
Two Reasons 1. Because as long as they have booklets, they are technically doing nothing wrong. 2. One person getting for lots of people, beats a group of mates with four booklets each in the queue together.
RE: Two Reasons 1. Yes they are, because the club set the rules on it. 2. No it doesn't.....if you are behind 1 person it's reasonable to assume it won't take you long to get served, that person then produces 40 books and wants maximum number of tickets and suddenly you are waiting ages - however, 10 people in the queue and you have more of an idea how long it will take....and could possibly join another queue instead.
Thats why people get frustrated in the queue though If people are queueing with 20+ season tickets , the queues might not be as long but they just don't move. Which in turn frustrates people and the people selling the tickets get it in the neck for not being quick enough. Nothing worse than being stuck behind someone with the works order in the chippy when you only want 1 bag of chips, so after 6 hours in the cold for match tickets its why everyone wants to kill somebody.
The 4 books max was posted on the main site on the first day that ticket info was listed, so its hardly news................ http://www.barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10309~1261678,00.html
