    Saddo that i am - Just been reading the rules of the JPT. Was reading another thread and it was mentioned about number of subs. The rules do state that its 5 subs (not 7) to be named in all rounds.

    It does say though that all fixtures will be completed by Pens if scores level after 90 mins - Apart from the final. 30 mins extra time then Pens in final.

    Maybe its just me that wasnt aware of that.........

    Last year the teams requested naming 7 subs and the powers that be said yes to it.

    A Football League spokesman said: “The Board of The Football League recently considered a request from Bristol City and Walsall to allow seven substitutes instead of five to be included on the teamsheet for the forthcoming Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium on March 22.

    "The Board acceded to the request and have committed to make this a permanent change to the competition’s rules for the final.”
