So much of the welfare benefits of free range poultry production. Yesterday a fox decimated my free range geese and ducks. Bet they whished they were safely locked indoors!
If you're going to confine things foxes have been hunting..... </p> .....for millions of years in one place then you're going to have to put some effort into keeping the foxes out.</p>
I dont have an issue with hurting people who hurt animals for fun.... </p> ...but I take no pleasure in it. I guess some of us are just more evolved than others.</p>
A University lecturer... ...outwitted by a fox? Surely not. In this day and age if we cannot come up with a fox proof fence then we'll never reach the moon.
I had a girlfriend in Holmfirth once... </p> ...whose dad claimed it was impossible to keep foxes out of their chicken run. I told him I'd fox proof it for £100 and if one got in I'd pay for it. He didn't take me up on it, the fat pro-hunting arsehole.</p>
