which do you prefer; the old Thomas the tank engine where the models were used and he had a scouse accent, or this new fangled c.g.i. stuff, because this new cgi stuff just loses all sense of reality for me and looks false.................................

    I'm a traditionalist

I prefer the old models, with the stories being narrated by Ringo Starr. The new episodes, and their C.G.I. format, have obviously been made with children in mind!:D

    I'm with BigLil on this.

The new ones are just not the same. Much prefer Ringo Starr or Michael Angelis doing the voices, rather than just narrating.

yes I know what you mean, theres a certain intrinsic artistic value to the models and a sense of reality that can be applied to some of modern societies moral delema's with the way the models play out the scenaros. where as the cgi is just 5hite

    Re: We ought to have

I have got a multitude of Thomas DVDs here, I know where I can "borrow" a Thomas train set too , plus there is also the Thomas ringtone on "she who must be obeyed` phone and the ride on train and track !
Then we could sit down and watch all the Peppa Pig DVD`s
