how's the compo capital of England going on? Have the council repaired the causeways and potholes yet?
RE: No its a building site I hope you won't believe you're being terribly original when the inevitable "You'll never get a job", "Sign on, sign on", "In Your Liverpool slums" chants air on Saturday. Take it from me, we've got 19 home games a season, so we hear them at least 18 times. The only ones who don't are our neighbours. But they have their ones too, believe me.
Merely taking the rise, I also find Liverpool to be a grand City. Being an ex-merchant seaman with some mates still around,Liverpool like anyother place has a minority of scum bags alongside the nicer folk.
RE: No its a building site- its true the city is all dug up at the moment. But at least its getting some funding now. There is no denying it has some very deprived areas. But so has Barnsley. But as I say still a great place. Scousers always a lot of fun.
