Can the club please take an official photo of Simon Davey and use it on the Official website - rather than post old photos of the guy, wearing, what now is a rival's strip. (Preston N.E) He is an official member of the Oakwell staff and therefore should be portrayed in this way. Cheers
Well, although the Official site isn't perfect by a long shot, i'm sure not all of this is Rob's fault. He has other jobs to do on top of this. But as stated by many, this is the site that all other people will see, so at least, the BASICS have to be correct. The basics are:- Correct spelling & grammer. News in date order and order of importance Links working correctly Current photos used for staff members The club must be happy with him, as they a) haven't sacked him or b) haven't hired any help for him. So therefore, the buck does stop with the club and not the individual.
And what have you done with the Watcher.... It must be Robs fault.
Tyke-That do you know where the Watcher is?
What about you Windy?

It's all about him managing his time properly The things that i've always pointed out are simple and quick for him to do IF he chose to.
For instance, when reposting the poker story how long would it have taken for him to actually read it first and realise that the entire bottom half of the story was claiming we were still in league one.
Presumably he put the ticket information for th emiddlesbro match on the website so it shouldnt be such a hard job to remember after the match that it needs removing. I mean, common sense should apply here really.
It's not about being short for time, its about not taking enough care and responsibilty with what is being done.

Oh aye, he'll always do the bare minimum to rectify the cockups Both he, and i'm sorry to say it Gordon Shepherd should be extremely embarrassed that customers are having to proof read and highlight error upon error on the official site.
I baffles me how somebody can get away with producing such a low quality product for so long.

RE: Oh aye, he'll always do the bare minimum to rectify the cockups Is it me or is this a bad attempt at trying to make out he's wearing a Barnsley shirt?
RE: Oh aye, he'll always do the bare minimum to rectify the cockups I might have got this wrong...but i think you find Rob's quality of 'work' a little poor.
RE: looks dodgy, what page of the official site is that from? http://www.barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/BreakingNewsDetail/0,,10309~875449,00.html
I think you might find that they're having a little chuckle at the club about this one. Just a guess like

If you look closely Isn't it just the fact the shirt is in two shades of black, which is why it looks like someones messed about with it for a quick solution? Think its a real photo myself
RE: It's all about him managing his time properly Supertyke If you are going to be critical of Rob Knowles's grammar then I suggest that you endeavour ( that means try ) to get yours right too. Being such a stickler for having things right then I am sure that you will fully appreciate my criticism of your posting. First line the "i" should actually be a capital I. First line of your third paragraph refers to "emiddlesbro", there is no such place. Proof reading is essential! There is also no such word as "th". Proof reading is essential! Also in the same line you have ommitted the apostrophe in shouldn't. In your final line you have ommitted the apostophe in it's. In future do ask your your mummy to help you with these matters otherwise your extremely childish efforts to ridicule someone trying to do their job falls rather flat.
RE: Oh aye, he'll always do the bare minimum to rectify the cockups Once again Supertyke I have to point out the error of your ways regarding proof reading. Your last sentence says "I baffles me" when I think that you mean !It baffles me". You really do need to proof read before you criticise otherwise you will constantly be shown up to be the immature fool that you surely are.
