    RE: To be fair

He's actually backed down from that request following pressure - from Cardiff fans believe it or not! He was the only one calling for it, the club said they had no intention af approaching the FA about it as it's their cup and they can do what they want.

Up until he spouted off about this, I wasn't aware we had a sports minister - never heard a peep from him before.

Seems he's just another of the Nationalist nobodies at the Welsh Assembly dragging out £84k minimum per year (+expenses) for doing nothing.

England v Wales, now there's a novelty. Wonder if we get this every week...

    Dear Sir/Madam

WELSH NATIONAL ANTHEM: FA CUP FINAL
Thank you for your recent correspondence about the Welsh National Anthem.
The circumstances surrounding my comments on the anthem have clearly been
misinterpreted. I was asked at the end of a BBC Interview whether or not "Mae Hen Wlad fy
Nhadau" should be sung at the FA cup final along with "God Save the Queen" and I
confirmed that in my view I would like to hear the Welsh national anthem sung at the match
just as it was in 1925 and 1927. I haven't expressed these views officially to the FA or
made any approaches on this issue and I have no intention of doing so. I am, however,
looking forward to seeing the Bluebirds lifting the cup on the 17th of May.

    sorry mate

watched your posts on here and you do wales credit. great memories of cardiff millenium stadium and general agreement fa should have the balls not to build wembley in london. would have been happy imho to have kept someat in cardif. (rugby league fan and they've made the effort)....but the national anthem???? mistake!!! and a bit of political correctness gone mad.just reinforced the idea (that i didnt subscribe to) that wembley was the one that counted and cardiff a stop gap, shame really
