For Man City Anywayz The FA have today confirmed that if Saturday’s game between City and Barnsley were to end in a draw, a replay at Oakwell would take place on Wednesday 13 March, kick off 7.45pm, with tickets set to go on sale straight after the final whistle. The Blues would receive 5,000 tickets priced as follows: £23.00 - Adults £15.00 - Over 65s £15.00 - Under 18s £5.00 - 5-11yrs £23.00 - Adult disabled £15.00 - Over 65s disabled £15.00 - Under 18s disabled £5.00 - 5-11yrs disabled Barnsley have advised that children under the age of 5 will not be admitted to the stadium.
surely we wouldnt cancel the Brighton game after both sets of fans will have bought tickets and arranged travel.
Thought that there had to be ten clear days between the initial game & the replay to sort tickets, policing out etc?
That cant be right. Don will surely have learnt from his mistakes and not given them such a large allocation. 22% of our ground given to them compared to 12% of theirs given to us
International weekend in 2 weeks with England playing away Friday night as well, that's why the FA won't make replays a week on Tues/Wed!! Why 5000 though, what happened to the north holding between 5800-6000.
I find it odd as well that a 5,700 stand is only allowing them to have 5,000 tickets. Wasting 700 on segregation is alot of money to miss out on.
Why do we give them far more tickets than we have to? Should put them in the away end of the west stand and give the north stand to home fans. This is all rubbish anyway as there's more chance of Mila Kunis coming round and doing my pile of ironing. Bet Victor gave me 15/1 on that. And can you imagine our box office trying to sell up to 20,000 tickets in the space of a few days?
If we give Man City the North Stand, then there are 17,000 tickets available for home fans which is more than enough. We only get around 8,000 home fans in for league games and against Man Utd a few years ago, the north end of the West Stand was still left empty
Wasn't that in an early round of the carling cup? Not quite the same as the quarter finals of the FA cup. And personally I'm of the opinion that its a good idea to try to increase our fanbase, not give tickets to other teams in an effort to keep ours at 8,000
