As I expected it is off because of a frozen pitch. I have been out this morning and it is extremely cold round here. The official site announcement though said "ASM Stadium in Oxford" - it is NOT in Oxford. The ASM Stadium Thame is nearly 20 miles from Oxford, not far from where I live. Why do they constantly get details wrong on this site? Does no one bother checking things before writing on there?
They mean to do it so folk can write threads about it on here. Without a **** official website, Keef Hill's interview's & Scott Wiseman this site would be dead.
You might be right there because they are certainly consistent as far as errors go. On any given day there is a good chance of reading an article with at least one mistake in it. Rank bad journalism. Getting people's names wrong is bad enough but getting the location of a match so far wrong is just stupid. I know it is a postponed match but it will be interesting to see what they put up when the game is rearranged.
Does someone want to ring the club on Thursday to check undersoil heating will be put on that day if this freeze continues? Can see it now: "We had to postpone due to frozen pitch so the game will now be midweek in February minus TV money''
decent temps Friday and Saturday for December http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/barnsley#?tab=fiveDay&fcTime=1355184000
the Washigton Redskins play in Landover,Maryland. 30 miles outside DC but they still say welcome to washington. so its not really a bad mistake at all is it.
