Is that opinion based on hours of research and weeks of studying his technique or ten minutes of TV footy
I thought once he settled down Delph had a good game. Probably our best Midfielder - though you could argue a case for Stirling. To put into perspective how bad a game Wilshire had had bringing on Millner was actually an improvement
Wilshere was the stand out poor-performer. Waste of a shirt for me and not strong enough to make England competitive in tournaments. That said, I am at a loss as to who can play that midfield-anchor role, within the formation that Hodgson played last night?
Thought Delph showed a bit of discipline after his early booking and did okay. Good team performance overall my only gripe is with Sterling in that he doesn`t do a lot off the ball (has he got glass legs), fine cross for the first goal though. Baines reminds me of Kenny Samson, Steadyaway.
I've never understood the hype about Wilshire. As for Delph its just been on TV that he had a 100% passing record. That's good enough for me.
