    Well, not many have my friends status' have been updated tonight so i presume that may have something to do with it.

    Don't remember accepting 'fan check application' though ?

    Had added it but now deleted and blocked it and doesn't seem to have done any damage. Earlier it said it was going through updates so I might have got lucky.

    It sounds like a hoax, but the virus or Trojan is spread be people searching on google about 'facebook fancheck virus' it diverts you to a website to which prompts you to scan or clean you pc. It's at that point that you become infected.

    i havent accepted the application either, only one i have got accepted is Barnsley FC, but i've been told its the reason whats going round, it should be all over tomorrow hopefully.
