We were playing rhubarb football and losing more than we were winning, against ****£ teams might i add. Wilson would come out in his interviews and tell us it was caviar when indeed it was dog ****£. Any other manager bar Wilson and there'd be no uproar. I'm gutted cos i've never wanted a manager to succeed more than Danny but i found myself making excuses for him. All in all, its a shame, but don't be fooled, we've not sacked a manager that was performing particularly well here.
Quite. The only reason for Danny to stay would have been for the sake of stability. But without expecting a promotion or a play-off push, there needed to be signs of improvement this season. For me, those signs of improvement weren't there. I think it's the correct decision at the moment, whether that will prove to be the case we will find out in due course.
