He will have had to swallow his pride a little in agreeing to come back on loan after leaving in the summer.

I would guess that he could have gone elsewhere with less pressure on him but he's come back to try and make things up to fans who were not happy at his change of heart.

Sometimes we make mistakes and choose what turns out to be the wrong option, it seems Danny has done this, but it's no reason to knock him. In effect coming back is admitting he made a mistake which it takes a man to do.

If he starts to knock some goals in then good stuff.

PS, if he starts being lazy I withdraw the entire above statement :)

Speaking as someone not overjoyed with the signing. I'm now behind him 100% because he'll be wearing a Barnsley shirt. Only Nardiello has the chance to settle this argument once and for all and I wish him luck.

I will bet he can't wait to get back. The whole move has been a disaster for him. It was obviously a big decision for him to leave, that's why it went to the wire. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a 3rd party influence. He did enough for the club to be given another chance IMO. If he carries on where he left off in a red shirt then his name will be sung again soon.

Aye, with a hefty price tag at the end of the season that we won't be able to afford

With the billionaires in situ they won't be looking for a lot for a player they signed for nowt. If he bangs goals in for us they might keep him.
