Nearly 900 made the journey yesterday I know it's not a long journey but they haven't much to play for
An hours drive on a bank holiday and could have gone 3 points off a playoff place . Not great but not bad.
Thought there would have been more tbh, especially with the chance of being able to escape being in scunny for a few hours
More than we took in any of 3 games we played at their place this season, and we are 4th best away supported team! So yes a top effort from Scunny fans.
They brought 813 according to our tannoy. Not bad at all if you base a good away following on the percentage of average home crowd.
I thought it was decent from them. Especially when you consider we've only sold 641 for Port Vale on Monday, on a bank holiday, when we get nearly 3 times Scunny's home crowds and are challenging for the play offs.
Agreed. I reckon the Crewe, Fleetwood and Port Vale followings have all been about 350 less than they would have been were it not for Wembley. Shame really. A few of us were planning a trip to Vale Park but largely due to next weekend's expense we've decided against. Same with Fleetwood, little interest from friends.
There is that I suppose. Still thought a few more might have bothered for recent games though given our once-in-a-blue-moon good form. Expect we'll take loads to Burton/Blades/Wigan after Wembley if we're still in contention.
Saw Kevin from Grimsby off Strictly after the game. Must support Scunny rather than his home town team...
