Some don't rate him, some do. The personal abuse on twitter was out of order mind. http://www.barnsley-chronicle.co.uk...tar-man-wiseman-ill-never-win-everybody-round
He's no Dani Alvez but he's one of our most consistent performers, I've liked him from day one to be honest.
He's still a bit hit and miss for me, but he was pretty good on Saturday. Another piece of moronic behaviour by our fans. I've never understood why some people find it acceptable to give out personal abuse at a particular footballer they don't like, if the boot was on the other foot, I wonder if people would think differently.
I must admit I wasnt sorry when I thought he was going to Blackpool as I didn't think he was championship standard, but since that fell through his performances improved significantly - I am now quite pleased we have him - the personal abuse was a disgrace there isn't any excuse for "fans" to sink to that level
I watched the Player interview (Wiseman on the Gibraltar call up) a few hours ago and I was going to post then that he seems like a great guy. Even if people don't rate his footballing skills you've got to admit he's got a spot on personality. Really happy for him!
When I heard Blackpool wanted him I jokingly stated I'd filled my car up and was ready to give him a lift to Bloomfield Road. He's certainly proved me wrong, delighted he stuck by us.
he's earned my respect, 100% one or two supporters might want to have a word with themselves at the same time.
Wiseman has been a 7/10 performer this season and is proving he is a Championship full back now. What disappoint me, is when Wiseman was having a rough period (both in playing terms and his Grandma passing away), Keith Hill should have had the man-management skills to take him out of the limelight. He didn't, he continued to play him and it made Wiseman's position almost untenable, which is why he very nearly went to Balckpool. Keith Hill needed to take a good look at himself, with respect to how he handled the situation. Wiseman can look in the mirror, knowing he has improved massively and also his strength of character will now be better.
I think he has been excellent since Hill left, I really like his attitude, effort and commitment. The personal abuse was disgusting and just goes to show the sort of keyboard warrior bell-ends that attach themselves to all clubs. I’m pleased that Scott had the strength of character to rise above it and have the last laugh.
Ever since he's been linked with Gibraltar he's been like a rock at the back and cut out the monkey buisness
Top lad. And has gone from being gash and a liability, to one of our key players. Just wish we'd use him and that flank more often, instead of using the left so often. Not many players go from being written off to lauded regularly. No idea who booed him, or gave him abuse on twitter etc, but as we saw on Saturday we have some reight cnuts supporting us. Still think the so-called stick he got wasn't as bad as others have had. Eaden was given much worse, and was the sort of full back that Wiseman ought to look to emulate.
I was one of Wiseman's harshest critics last season, and he proved a lot of people wrong. Now I look back at it, it was down to Hill's ineptness as a manager rather than Scott Wiseman's skill as a footballer that was the problem. Flicker needs a lot of Kudos for turning the lad round. Hope he can do the same with Kennedy, who I really rated last season.
Definitely one of our most consistent performers this season. I'd probably put him 2nd behind O'Grady as an early player of the season.
Never used to like him, but really like him now. As people have said he's been one of our most consistent players this season. He was my man of the match on Saturday.
