You lot certainly deserved a point on the second half performance, Butterfield looks a very good prospect, took his goal well. Felt the ref was poor for both sides and his friends on the line were not much better.
I thought the ref was very inconsistent. Gave us bookings for challenges similar to ones which didn't get a warning when your players did them. Lino's got decisions wrong for both sides, from where i was sat, the one down the left was waiting for the referee to make a decision. Wednesday were by far the better in the first half but we made up for it in the 2nd half, Butterfields coming on nicely, think with the addition of Hammill this week (hopefully) and a couple more, we'll be more competitive thoughout the game. Good luck fr the rest of the season mate, (apart from on 16th January)
How the hell your player didn't get a yellow for hacking down Macken in the centre circle I will never know? Yet Anderson got one for jumping into the keeper. Should either both be a yellow or none IMO.
Anyone under the age of 50 has a lack of concentration. That is the reason we have crap referees/umpires and linesman - FACT
Just been talking to an Owls fan re the Jeffers "pen" incident Funnily enough we disagreed..... She thought (from her biased viewpoit 100 yards away in the Kop) that it was a def pen. I thought (from my biased viewpoint 20 yards away) that Jeffers could have been thru on goal & actually looked to put his foot back to try & make it look like a clip. Wouldn't mind seeing it again. Wonder what everyone else made of it. Either way, Jeffers never stopped niggling & never stopped mouthing off at the ref.
it was a deffi free kick outside the box, deliberate by foster, we thought he could ave walked ,we were sat in the barnsley end 10 metres away, ref got i right yellow outside the box, couldnt see our penalty shout it was too far away and were sat in lower tier
on another day with another ref it would have been given............ and i wouldnt have complained-deliberate by Foster
Maybe deliberate, but I still felt Jeffers was looking for it and hung his leg out looking to buy the foul. But I'd be willing to bet my life that it was 100% outside of the box. I feel that it shouldn't even be an issue it was that far out. Cheating mouthing lovely person threw himself into the box and was quite fortunate to even get the freekick, yet he was having a right go at the ref wanting a penalty. ******.
Wasnt campbell rice a penalty either the ref had white lime on his front two studs it was that near to box
mmm fair play to him ,draw seemed fair ,considering we had most chances, they had most possession ,goals decide games ,2 each so fair play, we must be much more happier then them, to us it felt like we won to them it must have felt like defeat
red couldnt see our shout but players were pretty pissed off especially jcr, ballance of it we both got decisions from ref
RE: Just been talking to an Owls fan re the Jeffers "pen" incident sure Jeffers has been found out doing that one before
