I think they will struggle this season if they dont sort the boardroom problems out, but on the other hand i can see them doing a Sunderland under Keane if they get sorted out early during the season

They heap so much pressure on themselves

it's a possiblity. If things falter and the train starts rolling down the track, it'll pick up speed towards League One.

My mate is a season ticket holder

he's says they are a shambles, looking to survive not get promoted. Very poor against Huddersfield & Orient.

The 3 outside were shop assistants not customers.

Yep, I reckon they are "one of the three"

    Newcastle
    Scnuthorpe
    Peterborough

Good management and team spirit can only take you so far, and poor management, massive wages and **** team spirit can only take you one way.

If you like your fields flat, in-bred people who cut their own hair and are **** at football, get on my NEW SEASON TREBLE,

    Newcastle
    Scnuthorpe
    Peterborough

    To go down

A massive 2000-1 to confirm their relegation. Have a quid and buy us a pint when it comes in,.

    Easy money.

I tell you summet that shirt is a stinker but its in keeping with the whole vibe

of the club at the minute. That result yesterday would have sent alarm bells ringing around Hartlepool let alone a club thats just bombed out of Premier League.

To be fair to em all up here, the fans have really had a dose of reality in last year or so, long gone are the illsuions of grandeur, the city is slowly realising the mess their football club is in, and most people i speak to realise they have no given right to be a top flight no more.

I feel for em to be fair, living and working amongst them, but hey they have never seen there club nearly go out of business and sink as low as we did a few years back.

Out of business and sinking lower? Now there's a thought the geordie nation can't even contemplate at the minute.

Had to laugh last night, was out in Toon and got chatting to this lad and his bird, he was from Sunderland, supported Toon and all his mates were Mackems, the look on his face told it all, i could barely stop laughing!!! Poor lad

I would love Newcastle to be playing Leeds next season

On the opening day of the League One fixture calendar!

I don't mind which day of the League 1 season it is.

I'd prefer them to be playing each other in the 1st round of the FA Cup with Newcastle being in a higher division!

You don't want to hope for too much too soon though

    Or do you?

Delph and Beckford leave the day before the transfer window closes, leaving the scum no time to replace them. Mid-table mediocrity beckons, but poor form combined with suspensions and injuries has Leeds finishing the season 4th bottom after a last minute winner from Anthony Kay for Huddersfield.
