RE: 'fans' that booed odejayi when he went off I cannot condone booing him when he was subbed but I can understand the fans' frustration. You cannot defend the indefensible, the guy is useless. HE, I'm afraid is the embarrassment to the club. I was embarrassed for him today.
Re: 'fans' that booed odejayi when he went off As opposed to mostto who is a world beater Nayatanga who never puts a foot wrong Souza who doesnt make stupid lunges giving away freekicks or letting players run past him stranded on the ground Devaney who doesnt try to be ronaldo and ends up making a fool of himself as they skip ast him down the wing unmarked Howard who doesnt think he is perfect and so can rest for 89 minutes a game while everyone else does all the hardwork Ferenczi who never ever misses the ball when he swings at it and doesnt give fouls away everytime he gets near a defender I could carry on but you get the idea. Yes Odejayi isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination but at least he tries, much more than can be said for quite a few players we've had on the books lately.
Re: 'fans' that booed odejayi when he went off You're absolutely right, he isn't the only one to blame. You won't find me defending Mostto or Ferenczi - we haven't a decent forward at the club. The really frustrating thing is that for a club with our finances we've shelled out 650 grand on two donkeys (Mostto & Oddjob). In fact you're right with the statements you've made about all the players you mentioned.
Odejayi Questions 1. Is he worth what we paid for him? No. 2. Should we have been out of sight today with the amount of chances he had alone? Yes. 3. Is he earning his place in the team? No. If he had one or two bad games the booing would be wrong. But seems as every game he plays in he's rubbish, I don't see how else the fans can vent towards someone not earning his wage.
Let me explain the difference between the real world and WWE In the real world somebody doesnt have to be the bad guy that you boo
Re: 'fans' that booed odejayi when he went off 250,000 is nothing in todays game I agree he is struggling to come to terms with Championship Football , but he is young strong and quick and has IMHO potential . He needs to get some confidence his head went down after he missed the first one on one with the Keeper ,my point is all the booing will be affecting him ,but at least the Guy is still trying , time if he has much left here may prove he is not up to it , but after going to Oakwell for over 35 years I felt ashamed of the " supporters" who booed the guy for an hour .and cheered when he was subbed.
