Are there any ways of getting our fans back?
18,000 - 3,000 short of last season in our biggest derby.

    8,500 lowest crowd.

it's poor. We need to do something drastic to get them back. But how do other clubs do it??

    They Win Games

We don't have a long enough run of form, to entice people to come back.

There's not many other clubs that think their fans get in the way of running a successful business.

I personally think we're screwed and they're gonna keep getting lower and lower.

They give them the opportunity to buy a ticket without taking time off work.

My mate is so disaffected by what's happened over the last 3 weeks and not getting a ticket for Liverpool after going to Southend on a Friday night.

Add to that the fact that the football is ***** and not enjoyable and it looks like he ain't getting a ST renewal next season. And there will be lots more like him.

TBH I wish Southend had won in the fourth round and this whole cup thing had not happened this year.

I wanna know where they've all gone.
Not long the days where we got 14k a game :(

we need an incentive of some sort or any other pull factors

A couple of lads i know are thinking along the same lines too.... but to be fair i reckon most regular supporters will be used to the odd **** up etc and carry on regardless. After all, a serious fan of the club wouldn't let a slight bit of upheaval over tickets affect their turnout with the Reds. I'm glad we beat the Scousers - bloody brilliant in my opinion. It's certainly livened up the season and detracted from the League issue for a brief moment. Go with the flow, that's what i say :)

    Wednesday.....

They should be getting more than us, by far. It's a much bigger place than Barnsley for starters!

    aint cheap to view footy,
you quote when times were good, but ive known a few years when it was the "faithful 6000"
10k is about as good as it gets for us in these average football times

Maybe other clubs look after their supporters better.

    Do you think?.....

The club is doing enough in terms of 'catchment'? Are they really attracting the youth of today down to the 'well with free visits, souveniers, etc?

look at what sheff utd have done this season. on at least 8 occasions for the lesser games they have reduced admission prices to 15 or 10 pounds for adults. resulting in 25k through the door. bfc have had one cheap game (fa cup 3rd round). sheff utd have had one offer after another to get fans / kids into the ground and its worked.

other clubs have the ability to sell tickets...

...and promote the club in a good light. both of which we are grossly incompetant at.

Possibly worst display of season. Why should any of the extra fans that did turn up today come again? Not until Davey returns to Wales I would imagine.
