West Street, Sheffield

Saw many great bands there (and lots of crap ones!), I saw the Cure supporting Siousxie & the Banshees, The Pretenders and XTC there. It won't be the same I'm sure but then again neither am I.

    Maybe...

it's for the oldies that can't accept they're getting old, or refuse to grow up.

In a few years they won't have a memory, so let the old dears have this chance!

    At least I can remember...

the last time I had it.

Although the way some of the middle aged women run around Barnsley, you'd swear they still thought they were 18. VERY sad.

    No

Don't you find middle aged women trying to act younger sad and pathetic?

Maybe you're into that kinda thing, each to their own.

    Sad and pathetic?

What, women deciding they're going to enjoy their lives without being restricted by age. No, no I don't. More power to 'em. People judging the way others live their lives, that's sad and pathetic.

When your spots finally dry up..............

.....and you pass the baton to the next adolescent know-all we'll have a laugh about how stupid you were.

You may even be able to afford a drink by then.
