These are 2 pictures from tonights Celtic v Rangers U/17 game tonight. Yes you read right, U/17.

Basically 2 kids teams and yet the hatred between the fans is such it requires such a police presence.

Things like this should be highlighted and not ignored by the SFA and media.

I am so looking forward to The Rangers return to the top flight.

Happens all over the country mate

    Stupid i know

I have a good mate who follows pompey and its exactly the same when they play southampton in youth cup matches and in u19 17 etc

You have got to understand Rangers Celtic is not like any other Derby - Its deeper than that

But yes i agree its pathetic going to youth matches mobbed up - but happens in more places than you think

Agree with this a 100%. I've been to ibrox many a time and have gone to many friendlies when they've played on English soil and the police and opposing fans afterwards are always quick to praise the Rangers fans for being both well behaved and making an electric atmosphere. When they played at hillsborough the Wednesday fans joined in with songs and applauded the supporters and the end aswell.

It's the poison on the other side of Glasgow that are the shame of our isles. Absolute scum.

That is very interesting B_L. I did not know that about Southampton and Portsmouth so pardon my ignorance here. But your comment of the Glasgow game going much deeper. The religious undertones at times is quite unbelievable and in this day and age very much unacceptable.

Glad I live in Dundee where derbies although fiercely contested by both sets of fans, violence and unsocial behavour is very rare.

I can see your point but to most rangers and celtic fans the rivalry will never end.

I agree it's unacceptable but any true fan will see and notice that rangers are the best fans in the world

40k fans to see the likes of east fife would never happen anywhere else

I really hope rangers visit oakwell and people will then see what I'm going on about

You would never hear rangers target the soilders of the United Kingdom

Only the other week they displayed a massive flag showing there respect for lee rigby

You wouldn't see celtic doing this

B_L I find it very difficult to agree with a Hun but you do make 1 or 2 points which I do agree will.
Although maybe the good people of Manchester might take a different view to you on point 2.
I took a picture of the Lee Rigby banner and total respect for that and you are right about Celtic fans and their obnoxious behavour regarding anything Brittish.

Got to say I do think you are just a wee bit off the mark by saying The Rangers are the best in the world. We all have morons following out teams but The Rangers do have a fair amount of knuckle dragging zombies in their ranks.
NOT the best in the world.

Lol I don't expect you to agree with me but you know deep down I'm right

Your right every team have morons and Barnsley fans were voted the worst in the premiership when were there

Scottish Teams are just has bad

    Let's agree to disagree

OK We will disagree but you are deep down NOT right. Sorry mate but Dundee United fans are the best as was recognised by UEFA in 1987 by awarding the club The Fair Play award after the UEFA Cup Final at Tannadice. That you must agree is being the Best Fans in the World.

L glad we can have this wee bit of banter mate :)

I've never understood this argument that, purely because there are more of them means that they are better fans!

How is a Rangers fan watching East Fife any better a fan than a Barnsley fan turning up to watch his team play Crawley next season?

Man City held their crowds pretty well when they were in League 1 as well I believe.
