........ ......... relegation will be an umitigated disaster, lose us millions, lose our best players, lose half our season ticket holders and all our 'casual' fans who turn up now and again. We were supposed to be consolidating in this division and letting the other newly promoted teams from League One struggle, instead this absolute fecking clown that we have in charge, with his stubborn attitude, bizarre team selections, ever changing formations and negativite tactics has put us massively in the **** and it will set us back for years to come. Been saying it all season, Davey has not got a clue what he is doing, should have gone after the Donny match at home, despite the 4-1 win. He was a dead man walking before that game and one 'freak' result did not change a thing. I think I am more depressed about BFC's current plight than I have ever been before, and if you think relegation to League One is some sort of a bonus then I hope you will be going to Exeter, Brentford, Swindon, Bristol Rovers etc. to cheer them on, cos I for one, fecking won't be, been there, done that, got the tee-shirt! DAVEY OUT NOW
youre spot on albatross good squad of players that should be comfortably in the top half of the table.I have had m y rose tinted glasses on that it would come right but monday just about killed my pig.if we`d have played 4-4-2 or a postive 4 - 3 - 3 we would have won that game as we woul;d have won many more. You`ll be there as i will whatever league we find oursleves in next season - its in the blood.berni brierley red is a ghost poster named brian whittiker, have you seen your old mate windy at the `well this season ?
You got that spot on Albatross .... Glad you replied to that post .... someone had to ! For the first time in months on Monday Davey actually picked the right team ...... and then played some stupid formation to 'combat Swansea's 3 in the middle' who according to Kidd would 'murder us' if we didn't match up with our 3 !! What was the half time score again ...... ? ? ? Well and truly murdered we were !!! Jesus, it's not rocket science. Play to our strengths .... get them pumped up before Kick Off, play 4-4-2 with JCR & Hammill out wide and smash some balls into the box. Tell the front men if they don't get on the end of the crosses then they are off at half time. Just generally work hard and get in the face of the opposition and don't let them have a second. Tell the wing men to work back and defend too ..... they both have the engines for it. Scrap, fight and give everything whilst playing our strongest 11 in their strongest positions ...... if we'd been doing that all season with this squad of players we'd be mid-table and that's a fact. That's why if we go down there's only 1 man to blame. He's been given the funds and the players and the best backing any Barnsley boss has had for years and he's wasted it.
If we had a half decent manager we would have been safe by now but the writing was on the wall at the end of January, if not before, I see now he's talking about us having '4 cup finals' to save ourselves, no doubt an attempt to remind us of his finest hour ............. leading us to Wembley heartbreak...... what a fecking w*nker
On a very selfish note "Exeter, Brentford, Swindon, Bristol Rovers etc." Are all grounds that are easy for me to get to. But Albatross is completely correct. And I'd rather see fewer away games inthe Championship than a couple more in pub league
Hear! Hear!
Finally we get to read some proper commentary of Davey's performance without all the accusations of badfannery.
It'll be in the dictionary next year, thee watch.
