    Totally agree. I am sick of us selling our best players even when we don't have to. There are no foundations at all. I'm completely disillusioned.

    There isn't one. All my optimism has gone and if this is all we can expect even when we have all the ace cards then I might stop bothering. I'm flaming livid about this.

    i agree Mr. C. i can totally understand the pressures of receiving a £3m bid, given the position we're in. but john stones leaving on the final day of the transfer window, i fear, could break the spirit. as for the crowds - they won't come back anyway. they just move from one excuse to another.

    time will tell, but i fear we will pay dearly for this.

    That's the whole point and the one that Don and PC seem to be missing. Stones has years left on his contract and will only get better so why the rush to sell the best player we've produced in a generation.
