Didn't want to derail your chesterfield thread but may I ask if you know what happened to the other SLO (Sarah maybe?) who asked for questions for the police last year promising to give a report of the meeting on here but nothing ever materialised. Even after sending her PMs there was no reply and no update at all.
Thanks for post. Sarah is still with us but not yesterday. Sarah and me cover away games with Alan and Carlo home games. Obviously some games we are all attending and can be contacted. Don't be shy come and talk to us. Twitter account should be up and running this week and you can contact slo@barnsleyfc.co.uk. We all read the BBS board and are active on it. PS The club read the board everyday as well !!!!!! Now that teething problems sorted you should get a reply to any serious point. Can't improve the team though!!!

My point was that she asked us for questions and promised to give a report of the meeting. When this didn't happen I sent her a polite pm back in April. As of yet I haven't received a response and there is still no update to the meeting. Seems a bit pointless asking for questions that fans want answers to and then pretending the meeting didn't take place and not giving us the answers don't you think?
i could be wrong, i've slept since then, but i seem to remember this question got asked on the 'football report' radio show that i was on, with carlo and spencer. again, i might not be 100% accurate on this, but i seem to recall the response was 'unable to/asked not to share what was discussed with the plod' fwiw, i've got zero faith or trust in anything the force say or do. biggest set of corrupt thugs out there.

I Is t it a pointless exercise having supporters liaison people who can't report back to the people they represent? Should t even bother having the meeting, completely defeats the objective.
you can't really blame the Club though, if the rotten barrel that is SYP, say they're not allowed to repeat what's discussed
I didn't blame the club. I'm just saying we have supporters reps whos role is to liaise with supporters and various club stakeholders. If there can't be any feedback why have the meeting?
I have had a very busy day !!!! Needless to say the Trust also, for obvious reasons. No doubt the club when they go into work tomorrow, will have a full in box. The SLO's have not been in existence for more than a few months, teething problems are now out of the way. All i can promise, in Sarah's absence, is that the BBS board is read, but it is always better to put query's through slo@barnsleyfc.co.uk . Stuff gets lost in the minefield of some of the posts on the BBS. Hopefully the SLO's will become a good conduit between the fans, their issues and the club.
